Neil Cross – B. Commerce CA
Neil has a degree in Commerce from the University of New South Wales, is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a registered company auditor. He has over thirty years experience in the areas of audit, accounting and taxation.
Neil spent ten years with the international firm Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co in Sydney, six of those years as audit manager and then with KPMG Hungerfords for a further four years in a similar role. Before commencing practice in Casino he spent two years as Financial Controller for a Sydney-based electronics company.
During his years in the profession, Neil has had vast experience in the management and supervision of client assignments involving large public company groups as well as the provision of accounting and taxation advice and assistance to numerous small business clients and primary producers. Specific client groups for which Neil has been responsible as audit manager and/or partner include Rank Industries, Borg-Warner, Readymix Concrete, AIWA Aust Ltd, Blueberry Farms of Australia Ltd, Northern Marketing and the Casino RSM Club.
